The Bridge Disability Expo (formerly Opening Doors For Accessibility) is a conference series held virtually across six cities over six days and dedicated entirely to Canadians living with disabilities.
CAN’s (LET’S’) Executive Director was part of a panel, moderated by March of Dime’s Public Affairs Manager Amanda Mackenzie, titled, Make a Stand: An Introduction to Advocacy. The session aimed to change views that modern advocacy is all marches and signs. It talked about what advocacy looks like in 2021, what it can do for folks and how they might get involved in advocacy in the future.
