FortisBC

CAN (LET’S) was contacted by a FortisBC employee from the Employee Communications department. Their team was interested in hosting two lunch and learn seminars with their employees as a part of recognizing Pride Month. The original plan was for CAN (LET’S) to deliver our Queer & Trans History BC workshop then, the following week, deliver the Queer & Trans History Canada workshop. However, the reception to the first workshop was so overwhelming that we were asked to deliver it again with a few adjustments. We were pleased to hear that their staff found such value in the first that we had repeat viewers and some people spoke about it so much people wanted it delivered again so they could see it. It feels so good to know all our hard work is appreciated as the history we share impacts and resonates with people.
