Canada Employment and Immigration Union (CEIU) National Human Rights Conference

CAN (LET’S) was invited to deliver a Disability Awareness workshop at the CEIU conference. CEIU is a component union of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC). They have approximately 30,000 members who work in the federal government. This conference is a triennial conference held by our union for their members from equity-seeking groups. This year’s theme was “Be The Change”.  The event will have speakers from various activism communities. They contacted to CAN (LETS) as they wanted a speaker “who will speak about their lived experiences and who can bring a call to action and inspire hope and a desire for change”.
