Jewish Family Services

In a previous month, CAN (LET’S) was invited to attend JQT’s (Jewish Queer Trans) ice cream social. It was held at Jewish Family Services. At the social, CAN (LET’S) Executive Director, was speaking with several people about the work CAN (LET’S) does. One of the people was a director with Jewish Family Services. She inquired about our walking accessibility audits, where we walk through the venue with staff and talk about facilitators and barriers of accessibility. She followed up with us in November and we set up a time to do the walking tour. CAN (LET’S) appreciated the eagerness to learn more about accessibility and be as welcoming as possible to those who use the Jewish Family Services.
