CUPE

We delivered our Disability Justice workshop at the CUPE National All Committees Meeting. This meeting is where the Equity committees for CUPE, who are elected at the national level, come together for a full 2 days of meetings. This year it was located in Vancouver. Our facilitators spoke to the Persons with Disabilities Committee, who are interested in taking a more intersectional approach to their activism. CAN (LET’S) was booked based on being seen at a previous conference. They felt our background and work fitted well with their goal.
