In January, we presented our Front Line Staff Disability Awareness workshop. We discussed the brand spectrum of disability and adaptive equipment.
Covered in the workshop is tips for interacting with people with various types of disabilities (mobility, age-related, blind/partially sighted, Deaf/deaf, neurodivergent/sensory, etc.). We also talked about current terminology and ways that people can ensure they are not perpetuating ableism.
