CAN/LET’S was contacted by a producer at Citadel Theatre (located in Edmonton). They hired us to deliver a Disability Awareness workshop regarding how they could best meet the needs of disabled audience members, staff, artists and other building users. CAN/LET’S was recommended to them by the Special Events Coordinator at the City of Burnaby. We are always happy when a previous participant suggests us; it means we are connecting with our audience.
The Citadel team had disability awareness training in person in late 2019. Over the pandemic they had a lot of changeover, so they wanted to give everyone (including new staff) a chance to revisit the disability focus as a group.
