LET’S hosted a focus group for staff with disabilities and who are neurodivergent, as well as two workshops for staff at WildBrain, a television and production studio that makes content geared towards children and families. The conversations went well and folks were very open and honest about their experiences with ableism within the company, including experiencing a lack of understanding and awareness of the needs of disabled employees from management, pressure from management to perform during serious health issues, and performative inclusivity and “well-being” initiatives. These conversations informed an Accessibility Report that was provided to WildBrain.
