Vancouver Writers Festival

In addition to the Low Sensory Space mentioned earlier in this newsletter, LET’S offered Disability Awareness Front Line Training to volunteers of the Vancouver Writers Festival. This training included guidelines for how to support disabled attendees including guiding access, interacting with folks who use mobility devices, etc. This is the second year LET’S has offered this training and this relationship comes from Heather’s position on the Festival’s accessibility committee.
