Conversation about Disability and Climate Change

March 1, 2024

In early March, LET’S executive director Heather McCain had a conversation with Molly, a masters student in public health and intern at the School of Public Health at the University of Montreal. Molly contacted Heather as part of a project entitled “Climate change and disability: a mapping of international civil society organizations.” The aim of the project is to explore the actions and interventions of civil society organisations in Canada, sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia in relation to people with disabilities living in the context of climate change. We’re looking forward to seeing the project as it comes to fruition. This conversation was especially pertinent as LET’S has recently launched a workshop on disability and climate change.
