LET’S is in our 2nd year of delivering Disability Awareness training to staff of all levels of the City of Vancouver. Earlier this year, we received word that our workshops were being received so well that the HR (human resources) department wanted their staff to have a custom Disability Awareness workshop. We worked with City staff to gear the workshop to the needs of the HR staff. We are proud of the workshop we created and the way we combined our material with the policies and lived experience of those in HR.
In June, we delivered the 1st of our HR Disability Awareness workshops. The response was great. We are excited to continue to deliver workshops for City staff.
